RayCAD has packaged it's proven optical computational software to serve as an embedded optical calculator.  Precise ray tracing of the optical design gives exactness to the task of correlating screen pixels to detector pixels.  This is for instrument designers who are faced with the task of correlating pixels on a CCD, or similar sensor, to pixels on a monitor.  It eliminates the need for lookup tables and elaborate fit functions.  A ray trace takes into account any optical distortions and other optical effect.

A simple text file lists each optical component prescriptions, locations and material which can be derived from your optical design program such as ZEMAX, Code V, Oslo  and, of course, RayCAD.
